The 30 Days of Love Challenge
Well we are 30 days away from Saint Valentine’s Day. Although it is primarily a celebration of romance and romantic love, I think it’s the perfect time to celebrate all aspects of love. Many of us are in such different stages in life, may it be happily married or trying to feel love again for their partner, a new parent overflowing with love, a teenager experiencing their first love, devastated after a breakup and trying to feel self-love or a new relationship that is in the initial stages of bliss. All of these situations present the opportunity to celebrate love.
It is said that the frequency of love vibrates at 528 Hertz, which is higher than the frequency of what the human body usually resonates at. Love truly makes the world a better place.
Let’s commit to performing on random act of LOVE each day for the next 30 days and see if we can spread a bit of magic.
Day 1: Today is all about you. Do something you love.
Day 2: Send a love note. If you’re not currently with someone, you can write a note for your children or even for a friend. 💕
Day 3: Time for some me-time with our Cleopatra-Style Milk Bath with Roses. Chances are your lover will be so enchanted that he will not be able to resist! If you are alone, just close your eyes, inhale, and imagine that you are happily ensconced in a lovely, romantic rose garden on a hot Italian summer night.
Day 4: Self-love Escape. time to journal and think about “What are my favorite ways to take care of myself emotionally, spiritually, and physically?’
Day 5: Hold a rose quartz crystal heart or a rose quartz crystal in each hand and say some positive affirmations about your worthiness of love. “I am lovable”, “I am worthy of love”, “I am love”, etc.
Day 6: Pick yourself up a handful of happiness. Visit your favorite flower shop and purchase some lovely flowers.
Day 7: Eat something yummy like our 2 Bite Brownies. Chocolate decadence without the guilt.
Day 8: Self Love Escape. What is a compliment you struggle to accept about yourself?
Day 9: Sit with some selenite crystals to put you into a higher vibration, then take a few minutes to name something you love about your body and personality.
Day 10: Go get an ice cream together. Single? You can still hit that ice cream store . . or pick up a tub of some Ben & Jerry’s ice cream and watch your favorite movie.
Day 11: Leave a love note on every place setting at our dinner table.
Day 12: Self Love Escape. What would your younger self be proud of you for?
Day 13: DIY Strawberry Sugar Scrub. Check out the blog for the DIY recipe by our Bella Vita Beauty Blogger.
Day 14: Make yourself a sumptuous treat that looks decadent but is actually healthy.
Day 15: Hold hands with someone you love.
Day 16: Buy a co-worker lunch or a treat because of all their hard work.
Day 17: Self Love Escape. Time to journal and write about “What is my biggest dream?”
Day 18: Play a game with your partner, kids or some friends.
Day 19: Get dolled up and plan a fun night out! Perhaps a concert or night out dancing.
Day 20: Self Love Escape. What is something you need to start saying yes to? What would you love to do but usually cancel, don’t sign up or say no to?
Day 21: Take a walk and look for the beauty that is all around you. Smile at people you pass by.
Day 22: The day after the new moon. The perfect time to set your intentions on what you want to create in your life. Today is the perfect day to focus on the topic of love. Have you found your perfect partner? Do you want to attract more love in your life? Is your relationship in that wonderful state of bliss or do you need to set some intentions on creating a better life.
Day 23: Take a Bath. It’s even better if it’s infused with crystals and botanicals. A little luxury for your spa at home.
Day 24: Rent a hotel room to get away from your regular routine for a night. If you want to save cash, camp out on your living room floor instead by setting up a nice romantic area.
