Jasmine Flowers

The use of pearls has a long historical reign for being considered a prized jewel by royalty in ancient kingdoms as China, India, and Egypt. Their queens and empresses used pearl powder as a beauty and wellness staple to look youthful and beautiful.
Hyaluronic Acid
Hydrates, smooths, and improves the overall texture of the skin. Helps to reduce fine wrinkles by improving the elasticity and firmness of dry and aging skin. Hyaluronic acid also possesses antioxidant properties to protect the skin from environmental conditions.
Directions
Mix up to a teaspoon of the dry powder mask with water, start with a few drops and add water until desired consistency is achieved. Apply mask to face, on clean skin. Leave on until the mask is partially dry, approximately 5-7 minutes (NEVER leave a clay mask on until it is completely dry and cracks). To remove, re-moisten the mask with mildly warm water using gentle circular motions with your fingertips while avoiding the eye area. Completely rinse off and pat dry with a clean, soft face towel then apply your favorite moisturizer. Use mask 1-2 times a week.
When used weekly, the pearl and jasmine mask will offer improved collagen production, a more refined skin tone and texture, and a noticeable reduction in fine lines. Please use clean utensils when scooping your desired amount of clay from the container for use.
Clay Masks are perfect for exfoliating, nourishing, and increasing the circulation for overall skin health and a more even skin tone. Our Clay Masks come in powder form and one little jar will make approximately 10 Clay Masks (depending on how much you use each time). A benefit is that we do not have to add preservatives since it is in a dry powdered form. This leads to a longer shelf life than a pre-constituted wet mask (which usually contain unpleasant and/or skin-irritating preservatives).
Why Do We Sell Our Mask in Dry Powder Form?
Did you know that when you add water (or any ingredient containing water in its’ composition, such as aloe vera juice, flower water, fruit juice, etc.) to any type of powdered clay it then requires a preservative? This is to keep mold, fungi, and bacteria from forming within days (and even within hours in certain conditions). In the cosmetic industry, clay is an ingredient that is notorious for being incredibly hard to properly preserve. Consider that when you buy a beautifully smelling, whipped or creamy facial mask in the store and it has any ingredients containing water in its composition, it has either been very heavily preserved with harsh preservatives or even more concerning, it has not been preserved at all.
When a cosmetic ingredient like a mask sits on your skin for long periods of time, you do not want a harsh toxin, or adversely you do not want to be slathering bacteria and mold all over your skin either. Which can happen when companies use an ineffective preservative or no preservative at all. Did you know that a lot of the “natural” preservatives actually fail stability tests? Imagine the problems you could encounter if you were to slather mold or bacteria all over your face.
Another reason we prefer to sell our facial masks in dry powder form, is that when clay and other dry extracts come into contact with liquids the product becomes “active”. Therefore, when a liquid/wet mask is stored in a jar it becomes less and less active over time, resulting in a mask that will lose it effectiveness over time.
Since our masks are made with dry ingredients, they will remain in their raw powdered form and then become “active” when you add the water.
